Rebellion unplugged have brought joyride for the first time to UKGE and they are offering some amazing deals only at UKGE! Gerry chats with Grumpy Gorilla Publications about Rosebyrne Manor, a narrative driven dungeon delving boardgame. At their stand they also have a nice looking table top representation of the manor for you to enjoy.

One Page Rules have a number of demo tables set up at the Expo this weekend to show off the ease and accessibility of their rules. Not only that they have a pre-production copy of their Broken Truth Grimdark Future two player battle box on display.

This year UK Games Expo have partnered up with the Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy to launch the Sir Coates Painting Masters where ticket holders can submit their work in one one the following categories:

• Single Miniature
• Squad/Unit
• Vehicle
• Monster
• Squires (For painters 15 years of age and under)
• Board Games

Each category has a gold, silver and bronze prize up for grabs and from the gold winners the best in show will be selected.

Ben is over at one of the Asmodee stands having a look at their trading card game Star Wars Unlimited. based on the Star Wars universe each deck is from different times and places in the Star Wars universe including fan favourites and well known characters from this vast universe

Giant mechs and awesome tanks what more could you want from a tabletop wargame? This fantastic looking game from Modiphius Entertainment is Hardwar a 6mm miniatures game of mechs and tanks owned by corporations and operated by you!

Halo: Flashpoint the PvP miniatures skirmish game based on the Halo video games has some new releases being shown off at the show. The new Kings of War Champions is here as well at the Mantic Games stand. Unlike the original Kings of War the barrier for entry is much lower and is a fantastic starting point for new players. The game has a lot more enthesis on your champions rather than your big armies. mantic has also brought their studio painted Warpath miniatures with them showing off the lovely miniatures in all their glory. Their newest game Assassins Creed Animus is coming this summer and Ronnie is giving us a little sneak peak into how the game will be played!
