Diehard Miniatures Let Their Orcs Go Wild On Kickstarter
May 7, 2025 by brennon
Diehard Miniatures are currently on Kickstarter with just over a day left on their campaign, which is looking to bring a set of Oldhammer-style Fantasy Orcs to life. Orcs Gone Wild features some excellent new 28mm miniatures from Tim Prow in glorious metal.
Orcs Gone Wild // Diehard Miniatures
This campaign is part one of the Orcs Gone Wild project, intending to bring thirty-plus new metal miniatures to their collection. This first campaign introduces a couple of sets of core Orc Warriors alongside mighty new characters. This campaign will be followed up by another campaign in October, which will complete the set.
A new Limited Edition figure leads the way for this campaign and gives you a flavour of the miniatures range. See what you make of the kooky Shazz-Zam, Orc Shaman!
Shazz-Zam Orc Shaman // Diehard Miniatures
As you can see, Tim Prow has once again worked in plenty of that Oldhammer magic when it comes to these sculpts and these fellows would be brilliant as your next mass battle army or perhaps a warband for a skirmish game.
Throughout the course of the two campaigns, you're going to see twenty-four new Foot Troops, five free miniatures (Goblin Familiars), the Limited Edition figure in Shazz-Zam (above) and then an opportunity to dive into the larger range from Diehard to supplement your collection.

Orc Warriors // Diehard Miniatures
The miniatures look like they have been dragged from the classic artwork on the front of retro Warhammer rulebooks. You've got the big, long faces, the fearsome tusks and teeth and plenty of oversized weapons. All of their shields also feature the myriad of designs you would have seen in artwork.
When it comes to diving in, you can see the mixture of Orcs Gone Wild miniatures available below.
Orcs Gone Wild Pledge Options // Diehard Miniatures
You've got all of your regular foot troops, with ranged and melee weapons, plus the command group, which can be used to lead them should you form them into regiments. The Sun and Moon Shields could be used to denote particular units, or you could mix and match them as you see fit.
If you're looking to enhance your collection even more, then you can also pick up some of these existing miniatures from the rest of the Diehard range.
Other Orc Miniatures // Diehard Miniatures
This should give you a good selection of elite options to bulk out the ranks, as well as a few characters. As this is a Kickstarter campaign, Stretch Goals and Add-Ons are also available so you've got plenty of chances to mix and match your pledges to get the Orcs you want.
There is just over a day left on this Kickstarter, so if you'd like to get your hands on Diehard's new Orcs, you should get in quick!

Here I was expecting the same kind of offering that GW gave to us in the form of Ork Bloodbowl cheerleaders. Man, this is not the show of green skin I was lead to believe I thought I’d see.
Diehard minis are great. I just painted up a bunch of the robots recently and they were delightful. Really good, clean sculpts and nice to paint. Sadly no pennies to join in this KS but fingers crossed Tim does well out of it.
