Fold New Yoroni Origami Warriors Into Para Bellum’s Conquest
April 29, 2025 by brennon
If you're looking for something a bit different to fold (hah) into your Yoroni armies in Para Bellum Games' Conquest, then how about the new Origami Warriors, which are available to pre-order right now.
Yoroni - Origami Warriors // Conquest
The Origami Warriors represent the mass of Yoroni who don't have the power and enlightenment to pierce the Veil. The Onmyoji inscribe dozens and dozens of names onto the massive pieces of paper that make up the Origami Warriors so that these entities can fight on the battlefield. They are willing to undertake all manner of dangerous tasks for their masters as it offers them an ounce of freedom not afforded to them before.
Yoroni - Origami Warriors - Details // Conquest
The wealth of those within the realm of the Yoroni is measured by the number of origami constructs that they control and generate, so there's a good reason to include a few of these as part of your army on the tabletop in The Last Argument Of Kings and First Blood.
The miniatures are fascinating and a unique addition to the Yoroni and Conquest as a whole. They act as damage sponges on the tabletop, offering protection to your other units and making sure that other troops can move into position. Fast and disposable, these Origami Warriors can rush forward in a flurry of folded paper, causing havoc as they fight.
What do you make of the Origami Warriors?

OK, got to admit it: that’s the most weird concept of a mini I’ve seen in a while. And the worst part: somewhere, someone has already really folded those I’ll bet! XD
They will never fold under pressure?
AAAaaagh they went digital 😲
One word: FIRE. 🔥
Or wind – make sure you fight them on a windy day and you’ll be grand.
The guys took a wrong turn somewhere. This is what I warned you about. 😀
I can make a hat, or a broach or a pterodactyl
I love this. I don’t play the game but this feels the most original idea I’ve seen in offer from anyone. I’m thinking kubo and the legend of the two strings and now I won’t get that cover of as my guitar gently weeps out of my head all week. 11/10 for imagination. Well done 👏
They look cool, but what happens in the rain!
then the Papier-mâché monster rises.
The wield the nastiest of powers: the almighty papercut!
Oh no! RUN!
And they never truly die – they just get recycled.
Probably the most original miniatures I have ever seen. 10/10 for originality, but not for me.
