Scourge Of Ghyran! New General’s Handbook For Age Of Sigmar

Games Workshop will soon release a new General's Handbook for 2025-2026. This will introduce new Matched Play rules for games of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar, set against the backdrop of a new narrative in The Mortal Realms, the Scourge Of Ghyran.

The fighting moves from the Realm of Fire to the Realm of Life with thematic rules for playing games of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar. The set (above) will come with a range of new scenarios for you to play, new Warscrolls for deadly spells and a set of thematic objective markers.

As the video above would suggest, it seems like Alarielle the Everqueen is not very happy with the incursions by the forces of Chaos and in particular the Skaven. The woods have been awoken and they are going to be tearing apart all who would dare enter their realm.

New Variant Warscrolls

In addition to the new General's Handbook, there are also going to be variant Warscrolls coming out for units in the run up to the release of Scourge of Ghyran.

These variant Warscrolls can be used to replace existing ones and are going to be Matched Play legal and last throughout the new season. This is pretty awesome for those seeking to add a Ghyran-like twist to their collection and theme their army to suit the new story.

The Skaven are going to be first out of the gate when it comes to updates for Scourge of Ghyran, so keep an eye out this week for more if you're a fan of The Mortal Realms.
