Unleash Meridian’s Alien Orc Craboids On Your Sci-Fi Games

Meridian Miniatures are back on Kickstarter with a new campaign expanding their Renegade 93 collection. This is another collaboration between Andrew May and Kevin Adams to bring more Retro Sci-Fi miniatures to the tabletop, evoking nostalgia from tabletops of old.

Alien Orc Craboids // Renegade 93

This collection of miniatures is for the Alien Orc Craboids. In the background for these folks, these Orc Space Pirates have been lured into the depths of space only to be transformed by the Deep Craboids and their Jellyfish Gods! They have accepted these hybrid mutations and are now coming back to the core systems to spread chaos and destruction.

Craboid Command // Renegade 93

The collection currently contains two larger sets of miniatures. The first of the sets is for the Craboid Command led by their twisted leader, Killbluurgh Grottly. They come with chitinous blades and blaster pistols as well as a mucoid splatter cannon. A great set for those who like their Orcs but also their Tyranids of old from Warhammer 40,000.

The Craboid Troopers then make up the core of your force (crew) and whilst they haven't been as twisted and mutated as the command figures, they still sport plenty of "improvements".

Last but not least, we have the Craboid Tyrant. This unnamed Orc was the first to make a pact with the dark creatures on the edge of space. He comes in resin to make him easier to assemble, whilst the rest of the miniatures are old school metal.
