Blow Things To Hell With Warmachine’s “Boom Boom” McCoy

Steamforged Games are taking pre-orders for three new Warmachine releases. You can get yourself a new character for Cygnar, plus some great plastic sets for Cygnar and Khador that were previously in the two-player Starter Set for the game.

Captain Connor "Boom Boom" McCoy // Warmachine

First up, we have Captain Connor "Boom Boom" McCoy, who rides into battle atop his custom, outfitted assault strider. McCoy doesn't do subtle and that is fairly obvious once you spot that massive heavy mortar and the twin organ guns.

McCoy comes with a feat, Shock and Awe, which allows his battlegroup to unleash a punishing, coordinated barrage which might be able to break enemy lines. Slot him in alongside the Gravediggers and their highly mobile Warjacks and you've got a solid battlegroup. A seriously badass Warcaster.

Cygnar & Khador Commander Cadres

In addition to the new miniature for "Boom Boom", you can also get the two "Starter Set" Commander Cadres that were previously available as part of the new Starter Set. Both of these come in hard plastic.

Cygnar Hellslingers Command Cadre // Warmachine

You can pick up the Cygnar Hellslingers Command Cadre, which comes with miniatures for Major Allister Caine as your Warcaster. You also get the Character Warajck, Duece, plus Captain Bastian Falk and The Black 13th.

If you prefer Khador, you can also get the Khador SKS-6 Command Cadre.

This set comes with Kapitan Zakara Vilkul as your Warcaster, plus the Character Warjack Razor. Backing them up, you have Sergeant Goran Lazarenko, The Jackal and The Hounds. This set has a very different playstyle from Cygnar, which should help you mix things up when diving into games.

Both of these Commander Cadres give you thirty-point armies for your first games of Warmachine. They will also act as a good starting point for beginning your collection.
