The Action Pack contains two units and four heroes to start your Syenann Elves for Warcrow, featuring a mix of druidic magic users, outright killers, and every Celt's favourite performer a harp-playing bard that can act as a support character or unit officer! Very much leaning into the hit-and-run concept of elves striking from the shadows of leafy boughs before vanishing once again as your opponent will suffer death by a thousand cuts.
Gerry also checks out the Grove Curtailers Support Pack, moving swiftly and cunningly in and out of combat at will, their skill allows them to leave the fight at the right time, avoiding being trapped, only to return again to polish off the enemy. Finally, if you're lucky enough to get your hands on the pre-order bundle he looks at the Gran Captain Exclusive miniature, Even if you can't get this exclusive figure, the stats for them perfectly exemplifies how the Syenann Elves will protect their forests from any incursion.
Will you be striking from the forests in Warcrow?

Great review of the minis all round.
I’d consider getting them for other uses, though I’m not buying into Warcrow.
With regard to working with the new material: do you think maybe CB should have stuck with metal? I’ve plenty of their Infinity metals, going back the last ten years, and they’ve been great to work with, mostly.
I’d be less inclined to collect more if they utilise this material instead, and I’m usually material agnostic.
I think metal is much easier to work with, I know I’ve had conversations with @soapdodger regarding this, while it takes detail as well as metal it can be prone to miscasting more easily than metals, either through over filling the part which distorts it or underfilling and not getting the full detail captured. But it’s the issues with clean up that are more likely to cause problems than miscasts as you really have to carve away mouldlines filing and sanding is more likely to burr the softer material
Good looking figures👍
